Politics can be a dirty business...
standards should be enforced about rules and constitutional laws.
Who wants to swim in that swamp...
but I'll just step into the fray for a moment.
Kevin McCarthy... from... California... never appealed to me.
When he spoke... he audibly drew his breaths... like a third grade
student speaking for the first time... which could be explained by
asthma or lung condition...
then... one day I heard Justin Trudeau speaking...
and he, too, had an audible drawing in of his breath...
which I hadn't noticed of him before...
making me wonder if this were a signal of some sort...
similar to... one whale calling to another whale...
and the whole thing made me gag.
I have observed the stalemate in Congress...
over the Speakership vote...
and in the background there is the looming fact that whoever
becomes Speaker of the House of Representatives will be third
in line for President of the United States. A scary thought for
anyone rising to that position... and a scary thought for the
rest of us, as well.
Jim Jordan has declined the nomination for Speaker.
I wondered... who else is there that might be a good candidate.
There are a good line of strong congressman and women who
could serve to get us through the next two years... but... it will
be a heavy lift... and whoever wins the seat needs to know how
to manuever amongst them all.
And the Speaker... needs to know the Constitution.
No law should ever pass that does not adhere to it.
I think... Louie Gohmert... would be a good choice.
Come on, Louie... get this country the heck out of the swamp.

There was another point I wanted to make that I missed earlier:
When Jim Jordan stood at the podium in Congress and endorsed
Kevin McCarthy for Speaker... the whole Republican caucus stood
and applauded for a prolonged time...
and so did Mr. McCarthy...
which I consider BAD FORM.
A real gentleman with a thoughtful attitude might rather have stayed
seated... in a show of humility... or perhaps humbly approached Jordan
and shook his hand to thank him.
But when McCarthy applauded with such enthusiasm...
his color turned yella...
what a genu-wine cad, I saw that he was.
