Miniature Golf

If you like creating gardens and working in them...
you could build your own Mini Golf course!
At least... once I thought it would be an easy thing to do.
Now, the courses are so elaborate and costly...
they have to charge a lot of money to play their course.
Where do families go... to do something fun together?
This is such a great activity for everyone... kids, families, couples...
it shouldn't be a luxury to go to one of them.
In my mind, the best idea for a mini golf course
would be a garden, with shade areas, and interesting themes.
Like... hmmm... different types of trees? learn about nature?...
Moving obstacles... trick angles... pretty fencing between holes...
places to sit and watch... maybe eat a sandwich or ice cream...
You could take a long walk in the park... together... doing something.
I used to dream of starting an interesting business of my own
and figuring out the cost of building... a nice "go to" place
because you'd have to have an attraction to bring in customers.
One idea was a cozy dark place... like a hideaway coffee house...
that had concoctions with interesting names...
"Supergirl" "Crazy Day" "Tropical Vacation" "Vanishing Cream"
made of coffee... juice combinations... sodas... flavors and creams...
that were served in unique glasses... with snacks...
like a nightclub... without the booze...
maybe have a stage to let starting musicians play for tips...
just to offer them a place to practice playing in public.
Doing the research... I discovered that there are mini golf fanatics.
Some people plan their vacations around unique mini golf courses.
Can't compete with grand plans like those... too much investment.
I wanted something that ANYONE could enjoy.
Some people now make them in their back yards...
one teenager leaves a jar... for donations... for visitors.
He maybe needs a sign that says, "enter at your own risk."
