I was thinking about President Trump today.
Was it coincidence that his historic arrest... alleging criminal acts...
(when... by all accounts... he was innocent of crimes...)
occurred during Holy Week... ?
the holiest days in the year for Christians and Jews alike?
the day of remembrance for the crucifixion of Jesus...?
Was someone trying to make Trump out to be... a prophet... like Jesus...
and thus make a mockery of his humiliation
and potential imprisonment?
I wondered...
could it really be so true that this man... gracious... refined...
and framing a genuine crusade to save our country from thieves...
could it really be true?
or had people been fooled... conned...
just like the prosecutor claims...
and really be a thief himself...?
playing just another part in the scheme to destroy freedom...?
which would threaten the hopes of freedom for the world?
I think the odds that Trump has wrong intentions are slim.
His entire life has been a lesson for us... on being successful...
and on living a full and happy life.
From what I can see...
it was Donald Trump that brought a failing New York City
back to life...
and turned it into a first class world destination.
I noticed that his renovations of historic American buildings
was done with care and quality... and good taste.
The show "The Apprentice"
was all about innovators and entrepreneurs...
and the challenge to succeed in modern-day business.
It wasn't a lesson on how to lie and cheat your way to the top...
it was a challenge to perfect your skills.
Imagine a world without people who work
to perfect their skills in business and innovation.
REAL innovation is a product of FREEDOM...
that thing that motivates us all to find a way to make life easier...
more efficient... or more pleasant and happy.
If trial and error... and inspiration...
were the domain of just the self-appointed "prophets"...
otherwise known as tyrants and government agents...
what a totally uninspiring world we would live in.
When Donald Trump began his run for President of the United States...
he had the wind in his face... against him...
and was just cutting his teeth on the world of politics.
It did not take him long to find his footing...
and become one of the most interesting speakers
who had ever appeared in the arena.
I have seen few mis-steps...
and he has even refined his mis-steps into an art.
He has mastered this thing well.
And we needed him.
If this is just a con... he has been put in such danger by it...
you know,
it is unbelievable how cruel and vicious people have been.
And if it is an act of mockery... they may not realize
just how foolish they are in the doing of it... because...
what before... had just been a man
who was coming to the aid of his country...
now has become a survivor of major dimensions...
a champion... of a great and noble purpose.
They did this.
When shadows dwell everywhere...
and all of us have shades and shadows about us...
all have failings and weaknesses...
one can only pray that God finds ways...
to guide him through it all.
Later in the day...
I thought of the Christian holy day of Good Friday...
the day that Jesus... was judged... and crucified.
I thought of the crown of thorns...
and my mind was taken back by a picture of Cain...
whose punishment was that he must find food
among drought and thistles...
upon which Cain responded...
"this is too hard to bear"... "they will come to kill me."

I look for things out of place in the Bible.
Sometimes I put similar pictures together...
to see if there is a correlation... one to another.
And then... there were the Israelites... in the desert...
making a covenant with God.
God had said that if the tribes followed his laws
that He would make them prophets among the nations.
When Moses was delayed... according to this story...
the people began to carouse and rebel...
making a great ruckus and all...
and Moses saw this... and broke the laws of stones...
he broke the tablets of the laws.
But... God had spoken already...
of his desire to make of them... prophets to the world...
and there was also a promise to Abraham...
to inherit the promised land...
from the hand of the Canaanites...
the offspring of the shameless... Canaan...
the progeny of Canaan...
who had spied on Noah... in his tent...
and laughed at his nakedness.
I wondered...
might the fate of the Israelites have been different...?
would the Israelites have become famous priests
even great and noble kings...
guiding all mankind to a world of wisdom, hope, and promise...?
or... alternately...
find a history full of war and struggle...
of division... heartbreak... shame... and ignorance...
finding their prophecies... by the struggle of their hands.
like Cain... like many prophets before...
suffer as all mankind suffers...
and through those hardships... prophesy.
... like Jesus... suffered...
enduring all our sins... our ignorances... and accusations...
as he, too... embodied... the prophet.
I wonder... is God telling us his own story...?
in all of these stories and prophecies...?
My writings and queries are theories... just theories.
The Joseph Theory... just a theory.
I wonder at them...
like a strange puzzle...
have I missed something...?
how do these pieces really fit together...?
what is the more clear picture of this...?
how is this explained in the real world...
where people live...
The goal seems to be...
to get humanity to a place where we can live in peace...
and to get there with our dignity, nobility, and integrity intact.
That can be... quite a task, indeed.
